So you’ve decided to take the plunge. You’ve found the dress, decided on the cake and where you want to celebrate afterwards. But what about the Ceremony, and the person who’s going to make it legal and legit? That’s where I come in. My name’s Shannon Fleming and I’ma registered Marriage Celebrant, approved by the Attorney Generals’ Department to help folks get hitched and conduct Marriage Commitment and Civil Ceremonies throughout Australia. Having been to many weddings as a guest, and hearing from family & friends that are planning a wedding all asking “are there are any young vibrant celebrants out there?” The answer now….is yes! I’m a bit of an alternative to the ‘average celebrant’. Your wedding day should be relaxing, fun and one you will remember. Being a Celebrant is more than just about the legalities of the day, it’s about having an understanding of the Couple, who they are, and what is important to them and making it a day they’ll remember filled with love and laughter. It’s my job to make it ‘your day, your way’ . You don’t have to stick to the norm with all the frills and over the top things, but if you want to, that’s ok too. This Marriage business is a pretty important decision, and shouldn’t be taken lightly. Stop, think, listen and discuss, however just because it is serious, doesn’t mean that on your special day you have to be. Its ok, you can laugh during the ceremony wherever it may be! Nothing’s off limits, all you can do is ask & I am only too happy to assist you, and help make it happen!
