Principal Dj Mike has been involved in music and entertainment since as the 70s as a choir boy, followed by tech training in sound as an assistant to the church sound support, then some video production training at the ABC in Newcastle, and a full time job at Tandy Electronica at 15, by the age of 17 he had his own sound and lighting and began djing, in the late 80s began his own business call Eva Mobile Disco in 1989. He started slowly and gained plenty of work and his first club gig was at cardiff worker club at chances nightclub and supported many acts including cold chisel, in the mid 90s he gained a position at the infamous JR nightclub, the Jolly Roger was a 6 night a week venue and was taken under the wing of the owner Victor who’s best advice was “make em rage mate”, and he has done so ever since. From clubs such as Casbah- Jacks on King, Surf City Newcastle, Great Northern hotel, Crown and anchor- Frostbites, Sjs(Sydney Junction Hotel), Warner’s Bay Hotel, The Kent Hotel, and resident Dj for super cat on Warner’ Bay and more.
