www.georgiablake.com Georgia Blake is a passionate filmmaker, editor, and photographer residing in Melbourne after over 20 years’ experience in creative industries in Sydney and New York as a maker and collaborator. After initial training at The National Art School she furthered her craft under her mentor, photographer Derek Henderson, and went on to engage in a range of projects including solo and group exhibitions; commercial photography partnerships; and designing and storyboarding animations for Marco Brambilla. Building a career as a commercial photographer and gallery manager, she followed her love of music into interviewing musicians and making music videos. This is when she was first inspired by the power of the visual narrative form to make change and was drawn to co-creating short-form documentaries (for the purpose of social justice).
