DJ KillRadio began as 18-year-old 80s enthusiast Jordan clutched his beginner DJ qualification and went out on a mission. For a few years, he was the weekend staple at the old Perth hotspot Carnegies, playing the usual top 40 until he was given the reigns after midnight to play a few masterpieces from years gone by. In his mid-20s, newly qualified and ready for a challenge, Jordan established Cutts Audiovisual Services Pty LTD, an AV installation company. Alongside his old man, director Jordan installs TVs, sound systems, theatres and security cameras in Perth homes and businesses and has been doing so since 2017. In 2021 after the shakeup of Covid-19 Jordan married the love of his life, fellow 80s freak Harleigh and they decided to make their dream a reality - to play their favourite music to the masses on a regular basis. Planet Royale, the coolest and most eclectic mega-venue in town shared that dream and now Jordan and Harleigh are the Friday and Saturday night resident DJs. You can find them upstairs at Major Tom's, dressed in their vintage best, hair as big as their smiles and surrounded by neon and Patrick Nagel posters; with occasional special guests Jedi Master Greg, the one who taught Jordan everything he knows, and Marcia (who you may know from the band Hussy) our musically gifted cousin, who is the queen with the 70s collection. We are available for Friday and Saturday nights if booked enough in advance - just send us an email with your enquiry! As we work exclusively with vinyl our ability to fulfill requests on the night is very limited. Having had our own wedding playlist hijacked by Kanye-loving teenagers (Harleigh will never let this go) we request that the hose/bride/groom send us a playlist at the latest one month prior to the event with any of their MUST PLAY songs. We have an incredible collection, and we know how to ride the mood of the crowd, but we also want to make sure your event is as special for you as can possibly be, so we will do everything we can to accommodate!
