All your Wedding needs
A wedding is something that all brides look forward to. They are usually the ones who really get involved with the planning of every minute detail of the occasion. From the dress to the caterers, from the food to the invitations, you can count on the bride to give her comments and suggestions. It is not uncommon for a bride to do most of the planning and decision making to make her wedding day perfect. However, in the same way the groom needs to experience a bucks night to let loose and have fun, the bride also needs her own night of fun to let her hair down with a hens party. A hens party will serve as one last hurrah before the bride enters the married life and takes on the challenging role of being a wife.
Holding a hens night on the same date as the groom's bucks party is a great idea. By doing this, they both get to have fun on the same day and they won't miss each other's presence much. Since the bride will be very busy with planning her wedding and seeing to it that the smallest details are taken care of, it would be best if her closest friends take over the the task of planning the hens night. They should, however, keep in mind that the bride's preferences should still be taken into consideration. After all, nobody would want to plan a night filled with hens party games that the bride won't enjoy.
Unlike the bucks party or the bucks night, a hens night is relatively more tame. This doesn't mean, however, that it is any less fun. While bucks party games commonly include the inevitable strippers, hens nights are usually devoid of strippers and the guests are usually just girls. Even though hens nights don't involve wild girls and games, there are a number of activities that make the occasion fun. Just like a bucks night, a hens night also involve lots of booze. Hens nights held at home are all about gossips, lingeries, and adult toys. Needless to say, a hens night is just like a slumber party -- only naughtier and more fun.
The bride and her guests also engage in a number of hens party games such as a more mature version of Truth or Dare. Another popular hens night game is the "Pin the Macho on the Man", a version of “Pin the Tail on the Donkey”, that involves pinning a condom on a make-shift penis. This game never fails to elicit laughter from everyone! Scavenger hunts are also immensely popular. In this game, the bride is given a list of dares that she would have to do. Keep in mind that the dares have to be realistic because the bride will have to finish them all within the night!
Making a hens night a worthy send-off party for the bride doesn't have to be expensive, and planning for it doesn't have to be stressful. The possibilities are endless. Just unleash your imagination and make the hens party a night of unforgettable fun!
